Working principle of circular vibrating screen
The inertial vibrating screen with circular track is called
circular vibrating screen for short. This kind of inertia
vibrating screen is also called single shaft vibrating screen.
Its supporting methods include suspension support and pedestal
support. The screen surface is fixed on the screen box. The
screen box is suspended or supported by spring. The bearing of
the main shaft is installed on the screen box. The main shaft
rotates at high speed driven by the pulley. The disc with
eccentric weight is installed on the main shaft, and it rotates
with the main shaft to produce centrifugal inertia force, which
makes the screen box that can vibrate freely produce the
vibration of approximate circular track. The distance between the
eccentric weight and the bearing center line is the excitation
eccentricity.
Main advantages of circular vibrating screen
1. Due to the strong vibration of the screen box, the phenomenon
that the materials block the screen holes is reduced, so that the
screen has a higher screening efficiency and
productivity.
2. The structure is simple and the screen surface is convenient
to be removed and replaced.
3. Less electric energy is consumed for screening each ton of
materials.
Circular vibrating screen structure: mainly composed of screen
box, vibration exciter, suspension (or support) device and motor,
etc. The motor drives the main shaft of the exciter to rotate
through the V-belt, and the screen box vibrates due to the
centrifugal inertia force of the unbalanced weight on the
exciter. Different amplitudes can be obtained by changing the
eccentric weight of the exciter.
The circular vibrating screen adopts the cylinder type eccentric
shaft exciter and the eccentric block to adjust the amplitude.
The material screen has a long flowing line and many screening
specifications. It has the features of reliable structure, strong
exciting force, high screening efficiency, small vibration noise,
durability, convenient maintenance, safe use,
etc.
Application of circular vibrating screen
Circular vibrating screen is widely used in the product
classification of mining, building materials, transportation,
energy, chemical industry and other industries.
