Overview of GS cylinder rotary screen (cylinder
screen):
The main structure of GS cylinder rotary screen is the screening
cylinder, which is composed of several circular screens. The
screen is inclined to the ground plane as a whole, and the
outside is sealed by a sealed isolation cover to prevent
environmental pollution. The screening cylinder rotates at a
certain speed through the variable speed deceleration system, the
materials are separated from top to bottom through the screening
cylinder, the fine materials are discharged from the lower part
of the front end of the screening cylinder, and the coarse
materials are discharged from the lower end of the screening
cylinder. The cylinder rotary screen can be equipped with a comb
type cleaning mechanism. In the screening process, the relative
movement of the comb type cleaning mechanism and the screening
cylinder can achieve the effect of continuous cleaning of the
screen body, so that the screening cylinder is always clean, non
stick, non blocking and does not affect the screening effect in
the whole working process.
According to different classification requirements, GS cylinder
rotary screen generally has 1-4 sections from fine to coarse, and
materials are screened from the first section to the last section
from fine to coarse, and materials larger than the last section
are discharged from the outlet.
GS cylinder rotary screen in the use process, the operation is
slow and uniform, the impact vibration is very small, the work is
stable, its installation is simple, sometimes even does not need
special foundation. It can be directly placed on the flat ground
or floor and under the silo. The machine is easy to close and

equipment installation
1. Embedded steel plate. Before installation, the steel plate
shall be embedded according to the requirements of the equipment
installation drawing, and the upper plane of the embedded steel
plate shall be on the same plane. The embedded steel plates and
foot bolts required for installation shall be provided by the
installation unit.
2. Installation of screen body. The installation position of the
screen body shall be determined according to the position
arrangement of the feed inlet and discharge outlet of the
equipment.
2. Install the foundation support. The two ends of the screen
body are installed on the foundation support by hoisting, and the
installation angle of the screen body is adjusted to the design
angle, and finally fixed welding is carried out.
3. Connect the inlet and outlet.

5. Rotate the drum screening cylinder by hand, and there shall be

debugging
I) preparation before commissioning
1. After all parts of the roller screen are installed and
inspected to be qualified, test run can be carried out. Before
the test run, the components shall be checked in detail to see
whether they are installed correctly as shown in the drawings,
whether the fasteners are firm, and whether there are obstacles
around the screen body that hinder the operation of the roller
screen.
2. Put the rectangular access door in the open position, and
rotate the screening cylinder through the manual barring, observe
whether the comb type cleaning mechanism is jammed or abraded, if
any, adjust it by adjusting the bolt;
3. Check that all bearing pedestals and gearboxes are well
lubricated and the oil level of gearboxes is proper;
4. The power connector shall be firm and reliable, with good
insulation and correct grounding.
II) no load test run
1. Jog the motor control button, and check that the rotation
direction of the motor should be the same as that shown on the
cage roller screen;
2. Start the equipment for 4-6 hours and observe the operation of
the roller screen. If any abnormal sound or other phenomenon is
found, stop the machine for inspection in time, find out the
cause and eliminate the fault.
The following items shall be checked during 4-6 hours of test
run:
A. the maximum temperature of large shaft bearing shall not
exceed 75 ℃, and the temperature rise shall not exceed 45
℃.
B. tighten all fastening bolts in time in case of
looseness.
3. Check the temperature rise of motor and rotating parts, which
should be within the normal range.
III) feeding
1. When the screening machine is in stable operation, start up
the feeding and discharging equipment and carry out feeding and
commissioning;
2. Close the seal isolation cover after normal discharging (in
normal operation, the seal isolation cover shall always be in the
closed position);
3. Check the discharge particle size and whether there is leakage
and dust;
4. Operate for half an hour, check all parts carefully, and deal
with problems in time.
5. During the working process, the operation condition shall be
checked frequently. In case of abnormal operation or abnormal
sound, the machine shall be shut down in time to find out the
cause and eliminate the fault.
Operation and maintenance
The operation of the cage roller screen is reliable and the
maintenance is small. Here are some problems that should be paid
attention to in the operation:
1. When the machine is started, the cage roller screen must be
opened first, and then the feeding equipment must be opened; when
the machine is stopped, the reverse is true.
2. Three days before operation, the fasteners of cage roller
screen shall be inspected every day, and they shall be fastened
in time in case of looseness. In the future, the cage roller
screen fasteners can be inspected and treated regularly (weekly
or half a month);
3. Check the lubrication condition of bearing pedestal and
gearbox regularly, and add oil and change oil in time. No. 2
lithium base grease is used for large shaft bearing. Normally,
grease should be added every two months, and the filling amount
should not be too much, otherwise it is easy to cause bearing
overheating. Each bearing shall be cleaned and inspected once a
year.
4. When the equipment is stopped for a long time (for more than
30 days) and restarted, the insulation of the motor shall be
telemetered to avoid the motor burning.
