1. Can the duplicator copy the encrypted system?

Yes, if your data is encrypted by software, you can copy it directly, and after the copy is finished, the target drive’s data will be the same as the source drive’s.

2. How can I make sure the data is correct?

The duplicator is equipped with the strict bit-for-bit comparison function to ensure the data is correct.

3. Can I back up my IDE hard disk system?

Yes, if it is an IDE hard disk, you can implement IDE to SATA backup through an IDE adapter.

Most old industrial control systems can be backed up as it is widely compatible.

4. If the hard drive has bad sectors, can it still be backed up?

Yes, the duplicator has a built-in system to allow the number of bad sectors. Just set it to “Unlimited”

and you can make a full copy of the master disk.

5. Can I copy NVMe/M.2 PCIe drives?

SP11/ SP13 are both SATA 3.0 protocols and can copy SATA signal disks.

If you want to copy NVMe drives, you can use PS100 or NV03 to complete the task.

6. For the backup of old SAS hard disks, are there capacity or brand restrictions? Can an

old industrial control machine be backed up?

Generally, SP11/13 can back up old SAS drives and there is no brand and capacity limitation, but

there exist very few hosts that can only support small capacity SAS drives. This is something

needed to pay attention to.
