FAQ

1. Can the duplicator copy the encrypted system?

Yes, if your data is encrypted by software, you can copy it directly. When the copy is finished, the target drive will be the same as the source drive; if it is encrypted by hardware, you can consult our engineers on the website.

2. How to make sure the data is correct?

The duplicator is equipped with a strict bit-for-bit comparison to ensure the data is 100% correct.

3. Can an IDE hard disk be backed up?

Yes. If it is an IDE hard disk, you can back up data from IDE to SATA hard disk with an adapter. Most old industrial control systems can be backed up with our duplicators.

4. If the hard drive has bad sectors, can it still be backed up?

Yes, the copy machine has a built-in auto-check function, which can detect the bad sectors before replication. Just set it to "unlimited" and you can copy the master disk to the maximum extent.

5. Can I copy NVMe M.2 PCIe drives?

PT11/PT13 are both SATA 3.0 protocols and can copy SATA signal disks. If you want to copy Nvme drives, PS100 or NV03 is recommended for you to more easily complete the task.

6. Can I use a CF to SATA adapter to copy any CF or CFAST card?

We recommend that you use a dedicated duplicator although you can copy it through an adapter. However, it will be more convenient if you choose to use a DF01 CF card copier instead.

7. Why there is no speed degradation problem while copying?
