Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can DM13/DM17/DM111 M.2 duplicator copy encrypted systems?

Yes, if your data is encrypted by software, you can copy it directly, and after the copying is finished, the data on the target drive will be the same as the source.

2. How do you make sure the copied data is correct?

The duplicator is equipped with the function of "Comparison", which adopts the strict bit-for-bit check to ensure the data

3. I have two different M.2 drives. Can I copy them?

Certainly. Actually, there are two kinds of M.2 signals, SATA and NVMe, providing DM series with dual-signal copy.

4. If my hard disk has bad sectors, can I still back it up?

Absolutely. With the built-in " Bad sectors allowed" option, you can copy the master disk with just selecting "Unlimited" operation.

5. There are many brands of M.2 disks with different capacities. Can I use them for copy ?

Yes, PS100 supports many different brands and capacities as long as the source drive contains less data than the target drive.

6. Can I use a CF to SATA adapter to copy CF/CFAST cards?

We strongly recommend you to use a dedicated duplicator. Although those cards can be copied through the adapter, but it is more convenient to complete the task with a DF01 CF card duplicator.

7. Why is there no speed degradation with JetMedia copy machines?
