Founded in 2007, LMM GROUP mainly produces all kinds of metallurgical rolls for various types of steel, bar, high-speed wire and strip hot and cold plate and strip rolling mills.

The company covers an area of 100,000 square meters, including two complete production lines for cast rolls and forged steel rolls, processing workshops, product research and development centers, testing centers, training centers and office buildings and other supporting facilities. Work rolls and backup rolls

  • Alloy Indefinite Chilled Cast Iron Rolls (ICDP)

The ICDP rolls adopt the centrifugal casting method with three layers casting process for getting good metallurgy bonding between shell and core to avoid the alloys permeate each other.

These rolls have good wear resistance and surface finish. That’ s because the certain amount of free graphite exists in the microstructure, and the roll have very good anti-sticky property and anti-fire property. It’ s proved successful used in many different hot strip mills.

  • Enhanced High NiCr Indefinite Chilled Rolls(En-ICDP)

On the basis of original alloy composition of normal ICDP,the hardness of carbide is increasing by adjusting the other elements and the graphite is refining by modification treatment of molten iron. Besides, the hardness fall of radial work layer is smaller.

At present the enhanced rolls are generally used as work rolls for finishing stands of 4-high hot strip mill, work rolls for roughing stands/finishing stands of hot strip mill and 4- high wide strip of reversing mill, work rolls for 4-high cold strip mill, work rolls/back-up rolls for tempering stands of 4- high hot strip mill and steckle mill. The rolling tonnage per millimeter is increased a lot compared to ordinary rolls due to good hardness fall and structural properties.

  • High Chrome Cast Iron Rolls

The high Cr cast iron rolls are applied to work rolls for roughing/finishing stands of 4 -high medium, wide plate mill, work rolls for roughing/finishing stands of 4-high hot wide strip mill, work rolls/back-up rolls for tempering stands of 4- high cold and hot strip mill. The high Cr rolls are produced by centrifugal casting of three layers. The outer layer consists of high Cr white iron, the intermediate layer and core consist of SG. Compared to ordinary high Cr cast iron rolls, the enhanced ones add modification treatment and applied to work rolls for roughing/finishing stands of 4-high medium, wide plate mill, work rolls for roughing/finishing stands of 4- high hot wide strip mill, work rolls/back-up rolls for tempering stands of 4-high cold and hot strip mill. The modification treatment limits oxidation of the roll surface, concurrent occurrence with the banding and spalling in adverse thermal.
