Introduction

Pneumatic diaphragm valve is a special form of shut-off valve. The opening and closing part is a diaphragm made of soft material, which separates the inner cavity of the valve body from the inner cavity of the bonnet and the driving parts. It is suitable for two-position adjustment, throttling, Channel necking, low noise, cavitation, and small operating torque.



working principle

The working principle of the pneumatic diaphragm valve is to clamp a set of thin hemispherical metal films in the valve body as a barrier between the valve stem and the fluid. The valve closing is achieved by pressing the valve disc on the valve seat by the stem head and the metal film. The valve is opened by an internal spring. When the valve stem is lifted out of contact with the membrane, the valve disc is lifted.
