Based on the principle of differential pressure measurement, the smart insertion working condition flowmeters are divided into single-point and multi-point insertion ones. Using the smart insertion working condition flowmeter based on the analysis of computational fluid dynamics, the flow field distribution status (temperature field, velocity field, pressure field, humidity field, concentration field, etc.) of the flowing medium in the tube can be learned. Vortex, backflow and transition, etc. can be avoided as the working condition flowmeters are installed at a relatively stable position in the flow field to improve the repeatability and linearity of the flowmeter. Through the fluid analysis of the pipe network structure parameters and medium operating parameters under actual working conditions, the measurement accuracy of the condition (not the laboratory accuracy of the calibration unit under the sufficient condition of the straight pipe section) and the corresponding flow calculation formula (which can be completed by the working condition calibrator) can be obtained to measure the flow in the pipeline in a stable and accurate way.

Compared with the uniform-velocity tubes, the smart insertion working condition flowmeters boast the following advantages:
