Hydrolyzed Polyacrylonitrile Ammonium Salt (NH4-HPAN) is a
high-efficiency water-soluble anionic polymer drilling fluid
additive, produced by high-temperature and high-pressure
hydrolysis of polyacrylonitrile fiber. Containing multiple
active functional groups such as ammonium carboxylate, amide
and cyano groups, it features outstanding filtration reduction,
high temperature resistance, salt contamination resistance and
shale inhibition. It is a classic multi-functional treatment
agent for water-based drilling mud, widely used in conventional
wells, medium-deep wells and salt-bearing formation drilling
operations, effectively controlling mud fluid loss, optimizing
rheological performance and stabilizing wellbore walls.
