The cable consists of a single central gel filled
uni-tube containing individually colour coded 250 μm buffered
fibers. This tube is embedded in a water blocking E-glass
yarn, and over sheathed with PE/PVC/LSZH (Low Smoke Zero
Halogen) outer jacket. The jacket is flame retardant, UV
stabilised and extremely resistant to the ingress of
moisture.
A choice of multimode and single mode fiber types and
specifications are offered with fiber counts from four to
twenty four in the standard range.
This type of fiber optic cable has good
mechanical and temperature performance. This
fiber optic cable uses two FRP to ensure the tensile
strength.
