Cement-based Permeable Crystalline Active Masterbatch is a specified core additive agent in producing cement-based permeable crystalline waterproof slurries. It is an inorganic powder composed by many special active chemicals. Waterproof theory is: when the active chemical substance in the material dissolved in water, it will penetrate and fill the micro-pores and the capillaries of the concrete carried by water and then react with the free calcium hydroxide to generate a dendritic insoluble fiber crystal. These crystals will gradually block the concrete pores and prevent the passage of water, thereby achieving a permanent water-proof and anti-permeable capability. It can also play a role in protecting the steel bar, increasing the compactness, and improving the strength. The catalyst in the material will be activated again once encounter water and then new crystals will be generated. Thus, when the structure is penetrated by water or cracked (the crack is less than 0.4 mm), new crystals will gradually block the gap, thus achieving the water proofing effect again.
