Carriage Bolt

Carriage bolts are fasteners that can be made from many different materials (stainless steel is the most popular). A carriage bolt usually has a round head and a flat head and is threaded along part of its handle. Carriage bolts are often referred to as plough bolts or carriage bolts and are most commonly used in timber applications.

Carriage bolts are divided into large semi-round head carriage bolts (corresponding to GB/T14 and DIN603) and small semi-round head carriage bolts (corresponding to GB/T12-85) according to the head size. Carriage bolt, a fastener consisting of a head and screw (a cylinder with external threads), used with a nut to fasten two parts with through-holes.
