Carbon Electrode Paste, Cold Ramming Paste
Products
description :
Cold ramming paste refers to a cathode paste that can be laid
at room temperature. It is a carbon-filled raw material for
masonry.
It is widely used in industrial furnaces such
as aluminum reduction cells, iron-making blast furnaces,
smelting furnaces, and calcium carbide furnaces. The
aggregate of this
cathode paste is the same as
that of ordinary cathode paste (also called hot stamping
paste), such as ordinary calcined anthracite or electrically
calcined anthracite, metallurgical coke, graphite crushing,
etc. The low softening point of the adhesive is 20 ºC ± 5
ºC.
According to the softening point of the binder and the
construction temperature, the cathode paste can be divided into
a hot paste, medium-temperature paste, and cold paste. The
application temperature of cold paste is 8 ºC ~ 25 ºC, the
application temperature of medium temperature paste is about 50
ºC, and the application temperature of hot paste is over 100
ºC. According to the particle size of the aggregate and the
size of the filling gap, it can be divided into thick paste and
fine paste. The thin seam paste is used to bond the carbon seam
of less than 2mm, and its aggregate is mainly coke powder of
less than 100 mesh. The thick seam paste is used to fill larger
gaps and to smash the carbon pad. Press the used part. Cathode
paste can be divided into the peripheral paste (peripheral
paste), carbon paste, and steel rod paste. According to the
different aggregates used, it can be divided into semi-graphite
cathode paste and ordinary cathode paste. The semi-graphite
cathode paste is used in conjunction with the semi-graphite
cathode carbon block, and the ordinary paste is used in
conjunction with the ordinary carbon block.
