Uncoupling Membrane is a polyethylene membrane with a sqaure structure of oval cavities, each cut back in a unique configuration and ananchoring fleece laminated to its underside.
Designed for tile and natural stone installations of Veneer material, UM serves as a waterproofing membrane, a vapour pressure equalisation layer to accommodate construction moisture occurring within the substrate and an anti-crack layer for problematic substrates.
The substrate must be even and load bearing. The rib height is approximatedly 3.3mm, Polyethylene is not permanently UV stable. Prolonged exposure to intensive sunlight should be avoided when storing the material.

Application:
1. Used for various floors like Concrete , Timber, Gypsum & Vinyl floors
2. Better apply T primer of Mapei or other brand on plywood before installing Uncoupling membrane
