A manhole cover is a circular, square, and rectangular plate with a suitable size for humans to enter with

the ability to move and the application of preventing people and vehicles from falling into the chamber box.

Cover plates are classified into two groups; simple and waterway. Waterway gutters and gully tops are used

to collect and dispose of surface water. Small sizes of these segments are defined as visiting and inspection

cover plates.
