Switch Rail Height Gauge

The turnout rail height meter is mainly used to measure the drop height of the turnout rail relative to the basic rail and the point rail relative to the wing rail. This instrument has the characteristics of high measurement accuracy, convenient calibration, simple structure, light weight, and easy portability. A reasonable turnout rail height can not only ensure the safe and smooth operation of trains, but also effectively reduce the interaction between wheels and rails, reduce the dynamic stress of the track structure, and maintain a good geometric condition of the track, thereby reducing the maintenance workload.

The size of the horizontal pole is approximately 300mm and the size of the vertical pole is approximately 250mm. The ruler is smart and portable.

1) Drop height value of turnout guide rail

5. This device is equipped with a simple calibrator that can be used for quick calibration before each use

6. The measuring head can move left and right and is suitable for various distance tracks. The movable range of the measuring head is 60mm, which can be used to measure switch rails and point rails at different distances.

7. Replaceable measuring probes, suitable for different uses

When measuring the height of the turnout rail and the point rail relative to the running rail, a flat measuring probe is used;

When measuring dents on the rail surface, use a sharp measuring probe.
