Appearance :  white or light yellow crystalline powder , relative density is 1.4.

Applications:

- Sodium metabisulfite's reductive and sulfonating properties provide versatile applications.

- It is used as an oxygen scavenger to eliminate the dissolved oxygen in waste water and in pipes. Bisulfite is a reductive bleaching agent.

- It reduces carbonyl and alcohol groups, which function as colorants of the substances.

- It is used in bleaching mechanical paper pulp, cotton, wool and kaolin clay. Additional applications include as a preservative (antioxidant), a hair waving agent, and Ensiling agent.

- leather processing, food and beverage processing, gas purification, water treatment  to remove excess chlorine, textiles and pulp processing.

- It is used as a reducing agent in chemical manufacturing.

- It is an alternative to sulfur dioxide which is used in sterlization of equipment. 

Quality standard : GB1886.7-2015

Packing : External packing is PP woven bag, Internal packing is PE bag, the thickness ≥0.05mm. There are "food additives Sodium metabisulfite" printed on the external packing, with the sign of "Avoid moisture and heat". The trademark is "Xianwang" .

Storage & defence: Stored in cool and dry place, aovid moisture and heat. No breakage, No mixed with oxidant and toxic matter. The storage period is 6 month since the production date. It should be transported by clean car, with covering matter, avoid raining.

Netwt: 25kg, 50kg, 1000kg/bag or according to the requirement of customer.
