Product Details

Properties: It occurs as colorless crystals or as a white crystalline powder. It is anhydrous or contains two of water of crystallization. One gram of the dihydrate dissolves in 1.5ml of water at 25°C and in 0.6ml of boiling water. It is insoluble in alcohol.

Application: In food processing industry, it is used as buffer, chelate agent, stabilizer, antibiotic oxidizer, emulsifier, flavor regular. Used in dairy product jellies ,jam, meat, tinned, pastry. Used as emulsifier in cheese and used in citrus freshening. In phamaceutical, it is used for curing hypokalimia, potassium depletion and alkalization of urine.
