Silicon carbide (SiC) electric heating elements are a kind of non-metal electric heating elements with characters like high-applied temperature(600C to 1550C), anti-oxidization, anti-corrosion, long life ,Silicon Carbide heating elements are widely used in different high temperature(600C to 1550C) electric furnaces and other heat treatment devices in many industries, such as ferrite magnet, high pure Alumina ceramic, Zirconia ceramic, powder metallurgy, glass metallurgy ,construction, ceramic firing, float glass production, melting of non-ferrous metals, sintering, brazing, Lithium battery industry.,and other applications that require operating high temperatures.
As SiC heating elements can be affected by different atmospheres, such like water(steam), nitrogen, Ammonia, So2, Oxygen, and other acid and Alkaline gas, we develop different coatings to protect elements from these atmosphere, which can give SiC heating elements a much longer lifetime.
SiC heating elements are capable of high power output, and may be mounted either vertically or horizontally. Because the element material remains rigid even at the maximum operating temperatures, no special supports are required, which simplifies the design of the equipment.
