A semi-husked coconut is a matured coconut from which only part of the husk (outer fibrous shell) is removed, leaving a portion of husk intact around the “eyes” of the coconut.
🔹 Why semi-husked?
Protects the shell and kernel during storage & transport.
Increases shelf life compared to fully dehusked coconuts.
Preferred for export, especially to Gulf countries, Europe, and the USA.
