The Satons LCL filter is composed
of an input filter, a filtering capacitor, and a feedback
reactor, which has the characteristics of small loss, small
volume, light weight, and easy maintenance.
The inverter based on PWM control has the function of
bidirectional power transmission, and its power switching devices
are mostly used in IGBTs. IGBT has a high switching on/off
frequency, but it also generates a large number of high-order
harmonics. LCL filters can filter out the high-order harmonics,
reduce voltage and current distortion levels, and select smaller
inductors and capacitors to achieve satisfactory filtering
effects, thereby improving power quality, reducing grid
interference, and optimizing energy-saving effects.

Application
The advancement of power
semiconductor switching device technology has promoted the
development of power electronic converter technology, and various
converter devices based on pulse width modulation (PWM) control
have emerged, such as inverters, frequency converters, and other
types of converters. These converters have been widely applied in
various fields. The three-phase voltage source PWM rectifier has
bidirectional transmission of electrical energy and fast dynamic
control response. The current PWM rectifiers mostly use IGBT
power switching devices, which can achieve high switching
frequencies, usually ranging from 2kHz to 15kHz. However, the
high turn-on and turn-off frequency of power switching devices
can generate higher-order harmonics, which are injected into the
power grid and cause harmonic pollution. To solve the problems
encountered by LCL filters, we generally choose LCL filters. LCL
filters can select smaller inductance and capacitance values to
achieve satisfactory filtering performance between
kilowatts.
