The raw materials for alcohol production mainly come from corn， dried potato， molasses and other foods， of which corn accounts for one-third. During alcohol production， only the starch is consumed.Other nutrients, such as protein， fat and fiber stays in the vinasse can be used to feed the livestock after processing.

According to different treatment methods， protein feed is divided into two types: DDG(Distillers Dried Grains) and DDGS(Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles).The filtrated liquid added to the DDG makes DDGS.

The DDGS-making stages are:

a. Separation of liquid and filter residue;b. Evaporate and concentrate the filtrate， and mix it with the filter residue;c. Dry the mixture with a corn vinasse dryer.
