HOW DOES WORK

As a stabilised product lasts in the skin around 28 days. During this time the stimulation of 4 different types of collagen and elastin takes place by slow release of HA.

The stimulation results in significant tissue improvement. Therefore we cannot say that is a skin booster as it also has a significant tightening / lifting effect on the tissue.

Profhil contains a mixture of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid molecules. The concentration of hyaluronic acid in Profhil is 64mg/2ml (or 32mg/ml)- higher than the concentration of hyaluronic acid in dermal fillrs like Juvederm's Voluma and Restyl ane's Perlane (both contain 20mg/ml).

How Does Profhil® work?

Profhil is the first BDDE-free injecable Hyaluronic Acid for hydrating skin and treating skin laxity. With one of the highest concentrations of HA in the market (64mg/2cc), the stabilised HA lasts in the skin for about 28 days. Profhil works because of 2 types of hyaluronic acid: L-HA and H-HA. This hybrid of HA allows hyaluronic acid to be released slowly and lasts longer allowing bio remodelling to take place. L-HA as a hybrid complex is released slowly and hydrates your skin, providing the Hydro effect. H-HA provides a stable HA architecture in the dermis that allows volumetric replacement, giving the Lift effect. Histologically, the expression levels of type I and type III collagen and type IV and VII collagen in keratinocytes are increased.
