2XXX series aluminum alloys are aluminum alloys with copper as the main alloying element, which include Al-Cu-Mg alloys, Al--Mg-Fe-Ni alloys, and Al-Cu-Mn alloys, all of which belong to heat-treatable aluminum alloys. The alloys are by high strength and are usually called hard aluminum alloys, with good heat resistance and machinability, but their corrosion resistance is not as good as that of most other aluminumoys, and intergranular corrosion can occur under certain conditions. Our plant's 2XXX series mainly includes 2011, 2011B, 014, 2017, 2024, among which 2011 is an Al-Cu alloy containing lead, and 201B is an Al-Cu alloy without lead, which is easy to machine.
