Nitrile, or acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR), is a material made of organic chemicals. The production process of this raw material has been modified, enabling it to compete with natural rubber.

As such, Nitrile gloves are an ideal alternative to gloves made of natural material, which:

• do not contain latex proteins, and
• have a minimal content of vulcanisation accelerators.

The risk of type IV hypersensitivity is greatly reduced due to the minimal content of chemical accelerators reduces.
