Monumental and Palatial Italian 19th century Louis XVI style carved and gilt wood grand console with mirror hand carved garlands, swags, blossoms and pierced carvings all over, the beautiful piece is gilded with French gold leaves and raised on tapered reeded legs coiled with descending floral garlands above toupie shaped acanthus leaves carved feet and rosette block, The legs are joined by a double rounded geometric beaded stretcher centered with an urn of prosperity and acorn finial above flanked by leaf garlands and blossoming flowers. The serpentine shape base is marble topped and of opulent apron bas-relief panel intricately carved with foliage and a flower amongst acanthus leaf scrolls above swagged floral garland central reserve with floral leaf carving below. The mirror has an elaborately carved floral acanthus and vines border with two fluted foliate crowned columns flanking central swagged floral garland surmounted with acanthus scrolls pierced relief. The curved top with impressive top tied ribbon crown surmounted with blossoming flowers.
