M-900 plus uses immobilized enzyme membrane biosensor and ion selective electrode to detect the concentration of the sample to be measured.An oxidase corresponding to the test substrate is fixed in the enzyme membrane, and the substrate is catalyzed to produce hydrogen peroxide. The hydrogen peroxide is measured by a hydrogen peroxide electrode, and the concentration of the test substrate is calculated from the hydrogen peroxide concentration.
Ion-selective electrode(ISE) is a type of electrochemical sensor that can convert the changes in the activity of the ions in the solution into changes in the electrode potential, and the logarithm of the ion activity in the solution has a linear relationship with the electrode potential. “Ion-selective electrode” means that the sensor is only sensitive to specific ions. For example, the ammonium electrode is only sensitive to ammonium ions in the solution, but not sensitive to potassium and other ions.
M-900 plus automatically collects samples and imports them into the test area. The test substance contained in the sample generates an electrical signal on a specific electrode. The instrument calculates the concentration of the test object by collecting the electrical signals on the electrodes.Before the test, the instrument calibrates the standard with a known concentration.and the voltage value of the standard item is a measure of the concentration of the test substance. The unknown concentration can be obtained through the comparison with the voltage signal of the standard item. The sensor electrodes will be automatically cleaned by the system buffer solution after each measurement is completed, and the next test can be performed after cleaning.
