This “Visual Passenger Information System (VPIS)” is a display system located at the upper train window, simultaneously providing information inwards to onboard passengers and outwards to passengers on the platform with following features:

much more information in a quicker way with LCD.
For example, onboard passengers can watch advertisements and notice real time status of the natural disaster, while passengers on the platform can identify train number, destination, and train type at the same time.
