In Hinduism, Radha-Krishna are referred to be the conjoined forms of the feminine and the masculine truths of God (IAST rādhā-kṛṣṇa, Sanskrit: ). According to the Gaudiya Vaishnava school of philosophy, Radha and Krishna are respectively the primordial forms of God and His pleasure potency. In some Vaishnavite schools, Krishna is known as Svayam Bhagavan, and Radha is depicted as the primordial potency of God's three main qualities: Hladini (extreme spiritual bliss), Sandhini (eternality), and Samvit (existential consciousness), of which Radha is an embodiment of the sentiment of love towards the supreme Lord Krishna.(Hladini). It is thought that Krishna or God can only be satisfied by devotional service in loving servitude, and Radha is identified with Krishna as the Supreme Goddess.
