Brewing Features

The Jura Giga 5 boasts one of the most impressive brewing systems on the market and is able to brew two different drinks at the same time using its dual grinders and illuminated coffee and milk spouts. The Giga 5 offers the utmost control over the brewing process with programmable drink options for water volume, coffee strength, temperature, and pre-infusion using Jura's Intelligent Pre-Brew Aroma System and offers pre-programmed one-touch specialty drink options including:

For those brewing on the go, the Giga 5 can accommodate cups and travel mugs up to 6.3" tall.

Steaming and Frothing

The Jura Giga 5 makes specialty milk drinks with its dual milk spouts, which will automatically siphon and froth/steam fresh milk for a macchiato or cappuccino simultaneously with the brewing process. The Giga 5's comes with a 20 oz thermal milk container and is compatible with the Jura Cool Control Milk Container.

Water Features

Frequent entertainers are well provided for by the Giga 5's ample 2.6 liter water reservoir, which can be fitted with with an integrated Clearyl water filter to protect against scale buildup and preserve the aroma and flavor of the coffee. The dedicated hot water spout is height adjustable and can accommodate cups up to 6.5" and dispenses water at three different temperatures.

Grinder, Bean Hopper, and Bypass Doser

The Giga 5's impressive brewing power is accomplished in part thanks to its dual ceramic disc grinders, which can be adjusted between 5 different degrees of fineness. Over a pound of coffee can be stored between the dual 9.88 oz aroma preserving bean hoppers. Utilizing the "beans a la carte" function allows you to select which grinder to use prior to brewing in case you're using different types of beans in each hopper. Finally, brewing with pre-ground coffee is possible thanks to the Giga 5's bypass doser.
