12-Point Flange
Nuts are cold formed from high strength 4135 Chrome Moly Alloy
Steel which are heat treated and then finished in black oxide
or Titanium Allo
. Rated at 180,000
PSI tensile strength. With more points of contact than a
hex, these flange nuts allow you to get a better grip for more
driver torque. The flange distributes pressure where the nut
meets the material surface, eliminating the need for a separate
washer.
