Air conveying chute
Pneumatic conveying solution for dry powder
The air conveying chute is an efficient and reliable pneumatic
conveying system specially designed for conveying dry powder
materials. It is widely used in several industries and plays a
vital role in the cement industry for efficient handling of
cement and raw meal powder.
Working principle
The working principle of the air conveying chute is simple and
effective. A dedicated blower introduces compressed air into
the lower shell, and the air passes through a porous
ventilation layer. This layer disperses the air between the
material particles, fluidizing it. As a result, the friction
angle of the material is reduced, allowing it to slide down the
slope of the chute along the air flow. This process makes the
transportation of powder materials seamless.
Main advantages
Simple and durable: The chute has a simple structure and no
complex transmission parts. This design not only reduces the
risk of mechanical failure, but also simplifies maintenance.
Only the ventilation layer and chute need to be checked
regularly. The integrity of the air conveying chute can be kept
in the best condition.
Improved safety and environmental protection: The air conveying
chute has good sealing, which effectively prevents dust leakage
and ensures a clean and safe working environment. Since there
are no moving parts in contact with each other, the operating
noise is low, which further creates a pleasant working
atmosphere.
Cost-effectiveness: Compared with many other conveying methods,
the system consumes less electricity and can save energy
significantly in the long run. The system is capable of
multi-point feeding and unloading, and is easy to change
direction, which increases its operational flexibility.
Applicable materials
The air conveying chute is most suitable for conveying dry
powder materials with specific characteristics. The moisture
content of the material should be ≤1% and the temperature
should be ≤150°C. Common conveying materials include cement,
raw meal, fly ash, flour and phosphate rock powder. However, it
is not suitable for conveying materials with large particles,
high moisture content or poor fluidity.
