Flamed finish surface:

Flamed finish surfaces are made using flaming production lines to help the stone regain its natural texture. The color of a flamed finish darkens the stone compared to the rough finish and it has an abrasive surface that can prevent slipping when wet. The common use for the flamed finish is for paving sidewalks, parks, and areas near water to prevent slipping during rains.
