Bridge expansion joint: refers to the expansion joint usually set between the two beam ends, between the beam end and the bridge abutment or at the hinged position of the bridge in order to meet the requirements of bridge deck deformation. It is required that the expansion joint can be freely expanded and expanded in both directions parallel to and perpendicular to the axis of the bridge, firm and reliable, and the vehicle should be smooth when driving outdated, without sudden jump and noise; it must be able to prevent rainwater and garbage and soil from seeping into and blocking; installation, inspection, maintenance, and elimination of dirt should be simple and convenient. Where the expansion joint is set, the railing and the bridge deck are disconnected.

The function of bridge expansion joints is to adjust the displacement and connection between the superstructure caused by vehicle loads and bridge building materials. Once the telescopic device of the inclined crossing is damaged, it will seriously affect the speed, comfort and safety of driving, and even cause driving safety accidents. [1]

Bridge expansion joints GQF-C type, GQF-Z type, GQF-E type, GQF-F type, GQF-MZL type, all of which are bridge expansion joint products designed with hot-rolled integral shaped steel. Among them, GQF-C type, GQF-Z type, GQF-L type, GQF-F type bridge expansion device is suitable for bridges with a telescopic capacity of 80mm or less, and GQF-MZL type bridge expansion device type is a modular bridge expansion joint device composed of side beam, middle beam, cross beam and linkage mechanism, which is suitable for large and medium-span bridges with expansion capacity of 80mm-1200mm.
