Copra meal or copra expeller, is a byproduct of the coconut oil extraction process. It is obtained by pressing or solvent extraction of dried coconut meat (copra) after the oil has been removed. It is commonly used as a feed ingredient for livestock, due to its high fiber and protein content, making it a good source of both nutrients for animal feed.
