1. The structure and performance characteristics of cement blanket

What is cement blanket?

Cement blanket is a soft cloth impregnated with cement, which will hydrate when exposed to water and harden into a thin layer of durable concrete that is waterproof and fireproof. The cement blanket is a three-dimensional fiber composite structure woven from polyethylene and polypropylene filaments (3D fib

matrIX), containing a specially formulated dry concrete mix (Dry concrete mix). The main chemical components of calcium aluminate cement are A2O3, CaO, SiO2, Fe2O3. The underside of the canvas is covered with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) backing, ensuring that the cement blanket is completely waterproof. During on-site construction, there is no need for any concrete mixing equipment on site, just simply pour water on the cement blanket or soak the cement blanket in water to make it hydrated. After setting, the fibers act to reinforce the concrete and prevent it from cracking.

At present, there are three thicknesses of cement blanket: 5mm, 10mm, 30mm

3) Hydration reaction

Cement blankets can be hydrated with brine or non-brine. The minimum weight ratio of water and cement blanket is 1:2. Cement blankets do not overhydrate, so excess water is always recommended. Water can be sprayed on the fiber surface several times until the cement blanket is saturated. As the cement blanket absorbs water, the color darkens at first and becomes lighter later. After the initial hydration reaction, the cement blanket should be re-wetted at least once between one and two hours

This is especially necessary in hot, dry weather where evaporation of moisture can cause the concrete to dry out too much.

The product HJ008 cement blanket is the most prone to over-drying. No matter what the weather is, one to two hours after the hydration reaction, it should be re-wet once or more times. Do not spray water directly on the cement blanket with a high-pressure water spray gun, otherwise it will cause damage to the cement blanket. Punch the surface of the cement blanket into a groove shape. If the cement blanket is not adequately protected by water, setting will be delayed and the material strength will decrease. If the setting time is delayed, it should be re-wet with plenty of water. Four, laying construction

1. Preparation

First of all, it is necessary to plan and measure to ensure a certain slope, so that the water can flow smoothly from the upper end to the lower end; second, after the construction site is cleaned and leveled, the construction line is set according to the design drawing, and the drainage slope is re-measured.

2. Excavation

Set the construction line according to the design requirements, the sides of the ditch need to be leveled, and there must be no virtual soil on the slope inside the ditch

and hollow. It is necessary to tamp the water-damaged parts, remove all sundries and gravels in the slope, if necessary, use notoginseng ash soil for tamping treatment, or seal it after grouting reinforcement, and the treated parts are required to have good stability

3. Laying

Materials can be laid vertically and horizontally. Please be sure to arrange the base evenly, otherwise it will affect the appearance quality!

4. Seam treatment

1. Dig horizontally at the place where two adjacent cement blankets are superimposed, with a width of 10cm and a depth twice the cement blanket

5. Quality acceptance methods and standards

General provisions

1.1. When the average day and night temperature of the construction site is lower than 5°C or the minimum temperature is lower than 0°C for 5 consecutive days, it should be confirmed

6. Later maintenance and precautions

1. This material is used in the central region of my country, and the design life is more than 50 years.
