The part of the coconut that is usually thrown away is coconut husk. Coconut Fiber is a natural fiber extracted from coconut coir and used in products such as floor mats, doormats, brushes and mattresses. Coir is a fibrous material found between the hard shell, inner and outer layers of coconut. Other uses of cocoa coir are as coatings,sacks and horticulture. White coir, harvested from raw coocnuts, is used to make fine brushes, ropes, ropes and fishing nets.
