SOFT MAGNETIC-IRON COBALT ALLOY

Co 27 is a new kind of soft magnetic alloy and also called FeCo27. while its permeability and the coercive force slightly smaller than FeCo 50, but the mechanical toughness and ductility is better, can be competent for machining, the saturated magnetic induction intensity and Curie temperature are fairly to FeCo 50.

FURTHER PROCESSING (Heat treating)

A final heat treatment (quot;magnetic final annealing") is mandatory for achieving the magnetic and mechanical properties. The necessary growth of the grains in the material, and hence the accompanying improvement in the characteristic magnetic values, only occurs during the final annealing.Use a non-oxidizing ,non-carburizing atmosphere such as dry hydrogen,argon,or equivalent ,or a Vacuum. But the purity of the atmosphere does have a crucial influence on the magnetic quality .Appropriate safety precaution must be taken when working with highly flammable atmosphere
