C17300 is a lead-containing beryllium copper alloy, developed from C17200 to provide superior machinability while retaining the high strength, hardness, and conductivity typical of beryllium copper.
With a small addition of lead (0.2–0.6%), C17300 offers easier chip formation and longer tool life, making it ideal for precision machined components in high-reliability applications.
