5052 aluminum coil is an aluminum-magnesium alloy aluminum coil. Magnesium is the main alloying element in 5052 aluminum coils. It is the most widely used rust-proof aluminum. The alloy has high performance, especially fatigue resistance, plasticity and corrosion resistance as well as high strength. It cannot be heat treated, and its plasticity is very good in semi-cold hardening. Low plasticity during cold hardening, good corrosion resistance, good weldability, poor machinability and polishing.

The main alloying element of 5052 aluminum plate is magnesium, and the aluminum-magnesium alloy also contains a small amount of Mn, Cr, Ni, Ti, etc. Most of the Mn in the alloy forms MnAl6, with only a small amount of solid solution. In the interior of the 5052 aluminum coil, Cr has a similar effect to Mn, which improves the resistance to stress corrosion cracking, increases the strength of the base metal and the weld, and reduces the tendency of weld cracking, but its content generally does not exceed 0.35%.

2. The surface is allowed to have peeling, air bubbles and rough surface. However, the maximum depth of defects shall not exceed 0.5mm and the total area of ​​defects shall not exceed 5% of the total area of ​​the coil.

5052 aluminum coils are mainly used for high plasticity and good weldability. It is a typical anti-rust alloy material.
