The DX8BD400 is an X-ray diffractometer use for the orientation of all single crystal ingots. After the orientation, the crystal ingot will be finally made into a wafer. It provides the ideal solution for crystal research labs, wafer manufactures and wafer quality control facilities.

Usage:

How to orientate the crystal ingot?

First, stick the ingot onto a material carrier board and then, connect the material carrier board with the special holding fixture on the unit, the fixture can be adjusted in two dimensions, put the ingot/fixture to the rotary table. Turn on the x-ray tube, under x-ray Asis X is adjusted to the optimum position, then locks the fixture.

Turn the rotary table to 90 degree, and adjust Axis Y and lock it. Turn the rotary table by 360 degree, when the indicating needle keep still, which proves that the crystal orientation of the ingot has been adjusted, now you can move the ingot with fixture together to the core-drawer, for drilling out the core.
