Type B Bag, also known as Anti-Static Bag is made of plain-woven polypropylene fabrics or other non-conductive material. Moreover, Type B bags do not have any mechanism for dissipating static electricity.

• Type B is made from materials that have a low breakdown voltage to prevent an incident where highly energetic and dangerous propagating brush discharges occur.
• This bag has low breakdown voltage of less than 6KV to prevent propagating brush discharges.

Safe use of Type B Bulk bags:

• Can be safely used to transport dry and combustible powders.
• No flammable gases or solvents should be present around the bulk bag.
• Designed for use in dust environments with ignition energies above 3 mJ.

Do not use Type B Bulk bags for:

• Do not use to transport flammable products.
• When flammable solvents or gases are present near the bulk bag.
• Not to use in dust environments with ignition energies above 3 mJ.
