Each 1 ml contains :
Toltrazuril 25 mg.
Excipients ad 1 ml.
DESCRIPTION
Toltrazuril has a coccidiostat mode of action and is active
against all intracellular
development stages of Eimeria spp. that infect poultry.
Toltrazuril is effective in the
treatment of coccidiosis in poultry, turkeys, calves, sheep,
goats, and pigs caused by
different species of Eimeria: E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E.
maxima, E. mitis, E. necatrix,
E. tenella. in poultry and E. adenoides, E. meleagridis and E.
meleagrimitis in turkeys.
T-COXVET
is compatible with all feed additives and is commonly used in
poultry and
turkey production.
INDICATIONS
T-COXVET
is indicated for the treatment of coccidiosis in poultry,
turkeys, calves,
sheep, goats, and pigs.
Toltrazuril is an anticoccidial with activity against Eimeria
spp. in poultry:
Eimeria acervulina, brunetti, maxima, mitis, necatrix and tenella
in chickens.
Eimeria adenoides, galloparonis and meleagrimitis in
turkeys.
Coccidiosis of all stages like schizogony and gametogony stages
of Eimeria spp.
DOSAGE
For oral administration via drinking water.
- 500 ml per 500 litres of drinking water (25 ppm) for continuous
medication over 48
hours, or
- 1500 ml per 500 litres of drinking water (75 ppm) given for 8
hours per day, on 2
consecutive days
This corresponds to a dose rate of 7 mg of toltrazuril per kg of
body weight per day
for 2 consecutive days.
