Intended Use

The suction catheter is designed for extracting respiratory secretions from patients under the supervision of medical professionals.

Directions for Use

Choose the appropriate model specifications of the suction catheter based on clinical requirements.
Peel off the individual packaging and remove the catheter.
Prior to intubation, ensure the suction catheter is smooth and intact.
Connect the adapter of the suction catheter to a negative pressure source and gently insert the patient end of the tube through the patients mouth or nose.
Adjust the negative pressure during suction by tightening or relaxing the adjustment port.

Cautions

Disposable product - do not reuse or utilize expired items. Read the instructions carefully before use.
Intended for operational use by nursing staff only.
Sterilized by ETO - do not use if packaging is damaged.
When suctioning from an endotracheal tube, move and rotate the suction tube to prevent prolonged suction in one position.
Dispose of the product and packaging according to hospital or environmental regulations after use.
For suctioning from an endotracheal tube, select a suction catheter with an outer diameter equal to half the inner diameter of the endotracheal tube.

Used Catheter Disposal Instructions

Dispose of used catheters and accessories in a sanitary container to prevent contamination and cross-infection.

Storage Conditions

Store in a dry, ventilated, cool place and avoid contact with harmful substances.
