With more than 90 cubic inches of surface area, the Sealed Countertop Water Filter has one of the largest filter capacities of any comparable filter! Ordinary tap water enters the system and particulate matter is physically trapped within the microporous material of the first stage. During the second stage, the pre-cleansed water undergoes a catalytic oxidation process where chlorine and other organic substances are absorbed deep inside the pore structure of the carbon. Finally, water enters the one micron post filtration stage where even finer particles are retained.
