The 5mm cord was made of PTFE Cover UHMWPE material, it is main use for project with oil and petrol environment. some acid (around PH4 ) and some alkaline (around PH11), and sometimes high temperature. That's why we disign the rope with PTFE Cover for resisting strong acid, alkali, high temperature, and also the UHMWPE core provide the super load strength.

Mechanical Performance

1. Heat resistance: Have excellent heat resistance and low temperature resistance. But durable to high temperature of 300℃ in a short period; can be used continuously generally between 240 ℃ to 260 ℃ with significant thermal stability. It can work at refigeration temperatures without embrittlement and does not melt at high temperature.

2. Abrasion resistance: Have excellent wear resistance under high load. Under a certain load, it is wear-resistant and not adhere to substances.

3. Corrosion resistance: Almost free from any solvent erosion and protect the objects need to be protected from chemical corrsion.

4. Insulating properties: Free from impact of environment and frequency; the volume resistance is up to 1018Ω •cm with a small dielectric loss, but a high breakdown voltage.

5. Resistance to atmospheric aging. The radiation-resistant property and low permeability: the surface and the properties remain unchanged although exposed to the atmosphere in long term.
