PDC Bearing

Diamond bearings are extremely wear-resistant and last 4 to 10 times

longer than conventional tungsten carbide or other carbide bearings.

The diamond bearing adopts PDC composite sheet welding to form

radial or thrust bearing. Make diamond bearings used in mud motors

and drill bit bearing sets in turbines, extending life and improving

reliability. Despite precision clearances, these diamond bearings can

withstand the rigors of drilling fluid lubrication and dynamic downhole

environments.

It has also been found that diamond radial and thrust bearings are

used in power generation and rotary steering tools, and the life of

diamond bearings has been increased by at least three times

compared to traditional tungsten carbide bearings, which range from 1

inch to more than 10 inches in diameter.
