One way degassing valve,coffee valve,coffee degassing valve, or degassing valves are a form of MODIFIED ATMOSPHERE PACKAGING (MAP) used in a multitude of industries but are especially popular in the coffee market. The coffee can be packed immediately after the roasting process to keep the aroma and flavor. The one-way degassing valve allows carbon dioxide to escape from the inside of the bag without allowing external oxygen into the sealed bag. The raw materials (HDPE) meets FDA standard, is imported from the USA and have obtained a third-party authority (SGS) FDA test report.

HOW IT WORKS?

When the gas generated by the product sealed in the bag makes the inside of the bag reach to a certain pressure, the gas can be pushed from the inside to the outside to open the one way degassing valve sheet, and the excess gas is discharged outward. When the pressure in the bag reduced to the level which is not enough to open the valve, the valve will close automatically. Meanwhile, the valve will automatically open only when the pressure inside the bag is higher than the pressure outside the bag, otherwise, it will not open, and the air outside will not enter to the bag.

HOW TO INSTALL THE VALVE ON THE BAGS

The one-way degassing valve is our core product. The installation of degassing valve will need the pressure valve machine in our company to hot pressing it on the bag.

1. The valve applicator holds the die head in the correct position underneath the seat for valves.

2. It pressed down the die head by heat sealing the valve to the bag.

3. The pin pokes a tiny (can be 2~6) holes in the bag which the valve covers.

How to Distinguish the Quality of One Way Degassing Valve

1.The easy way to test it is by pumping the air from the bags with one way degassing valve after sealing, and then see if the bag will expand or not.
2.Test the freshness of coffee
Making a cup at different times, one month, two months, or even three months longer time using the valve, write down the test result and make the comparison, Compare the foam volume and the acidity of the coffee, if there still is a lot of foam and the coffee taste less sour, it is said that the coffee is kept well. Otherwise,,the one way degassing valve is not good and can't keep the freshness of coffee effectively.
3. Check the fermented feed
The one way degassing valve placed in the packaging bag aims to help vent the air that is produced by the feed to keep the high quality of fermented feed for a longer time. If there is gas trapped in the packaging bag, or the fermented feed is moldy, it's no doubt that the one way degassing valve is inferior.
