• Cell activation system with tube 1 sodium citrate and glass ball
• Tube 2 Activation Tube with Calcium Chloride
• 12 ml of blood is vacuumed into Tube 1
• All plasma is collected, along with some RBC, and transferred to tube 2 and shaken gently.
• Tube 2 is centrifuged for another 4 minutes at 2000 RCF
• All the activated plasma is taken and applied.
• The glass spheres in Tube 1 provide support in activating the platelets and provide a higher amount and better quality rich plasma.
