On safety consideration, more installation length will be needed if stroke is longer than 300mm. Further study is necessary according to specific application.

The retracted length of cylinder is as known as the minimum installation size.

To ensure the basic safety, extra length (the overlapped length between housing tube and piston rod) is need if stroke is longer than 300mm.
